How many employees does it take to change a lightbulb? If you’re talking about Sears, then the answer is none, apparently. On a recent vacation to Vancouver, B.C., I came upon an unfortunate maintenance issue with the Sears located in the downtown area. Having a light burn out on your sign is something that just happens. Too bad it happened to be the “E” on this sign which now reads “SARS”. Nothing like having your brand name associated with symptoms of fever, myalgia, lethargy, and gastrointestinal problems…or death, for that matter. You’d think that a company as big as Sears would want to get this taken care of, yet 2 months later, I hear the “E” still hasn’t been fixed. Now, that’s not funny. If you are from the land of Bryan Adams and can give me an update on this I would appreciate it. Send me a better pic, too, if you can. As you can see, my pic sucks.
